In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 Travel and Local apps in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their trends:

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw its weekly downloads gradually decline from 13.7K at the end of June to 8.6K by the end of September. Weekly active users hovered around the 240K mark throughout the quarter, peaking at 257.7K in late June and ending at 246.5K in late September.

invygo - monthly car rental experienced a noticeable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K in late June and reaching a high of 7.1K in late August. Weekly active users also climbed steadily, beginning at 14.6K and peaking at 20.8K by the end of August before settling at 18.2K in late September.

Google Earth had a significant spike in weekly downloads in mid-July, reaching 15K, but generally fluctuated between 4.5K and 9.6K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a peak of 44.4K in mid-July and a more stable range around 24K to 36K subsequently.

Mastercard Travel Pass showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 15.9K at the end of June and falling to 6.3K by the end of September. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, increasing from 70.8K in late June to 77.3K by the end of September.

Wego - Flights, Hotels, Travel experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 8.6K in late June and ending at 4.1K in late September. Weekly active users saw a slight decline over the quarter, from 63.6K in late June to 55.3K by the end of September.
